Payment Service Provider

Our payment processing is provided by Paytrail Plc (business ID 2122839-7) in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Plc appears as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement and forwards the payment to the merchant (Ropee Oy). Paytrail Plc is a licensed payment institution authorized by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority.

General Terms of Ropee Oy's Online Store

Ropee Oy operates the online store at ropee.fi, selling products mainly to Finland (excluding Åland), Sweden, and selected international destinations.

Customer Requirements

To shop at Ropee.fi, the customer must be at least 18 years old. Persons under 18 must have parental consent to place an order.

The following information is required when placing an order:

  • Full name

  • Shipping address

  • Phone number

  • Email address

  • Personal ID (only for invoicing within Finland)

Placing an Order

By placing an order, the customer agrees to these general terms and conditions. A binding contract is created once the customer completes payment at Ropee.fi.

An automatic order confirmation will be sent to the customer's email. The same email will receive the shipping confirmation and invoice (if applicable).

Ropee Oy reserves the right to cancel an order if the price or availability of a product was incorrect due to a technical error, typo, or other issue. If a product is out of stock or unavailable, customer service will contact the customer with the option to cancel or replace the product.

Ropee's shopping cart does not reserve products – prices and availability may change even if the item is in your cart.

We reserve the right to cancel any order that we suspect is intended for resale or other non-private use.

Shipping Time

  • Finland: approx. 3–5 business days

  • Sweden & Baltic countries: approx. 3–7 business days

  • Other European countries: approx. 5–10 business days

  • Outside Europe: approx. 7–21 business days (depending on destination)

Delivery times may be longer during public holidays, large campaigns or for custom-made products.

Prices

All prices displayed on Ropee.fi include Finnish VAT (if applicable). Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on delivery country and method.

We reserve the right to cancel orders if a pricing error has occurred.

Payment Options

Customers can pay using several payment methods including online banking, credit/debit cards, invoices, and installment plans (where available).

The available payment methods may vary based on customer information and location. If the selected payment method is unavailable or declined by Paytrail, Ropee Oy reserves the right to cancel or request a different payment method.

Returns & Exchanges

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your delivery, in accordance with EU consumer protection laws.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Products must be unused and returned in their original packaging, including all tags and instructions.

Please retain proof of return, such as a receipt from your shipping provider. Use the original shipping box if possible, and do not write or attach anything directly on the product packaging.

Failure to follow return instructions may result in charges to the customer for damage or repackaging.

⚠️ NOTE: Not picking up a package is not the same as returning it.
Unclaimed orders will incur a €19.90 handling fee if returned without prior notice. Please contact customer service before refusing delivery.

Product Warranty

Product warranty terms vary depending on the product. Warranty information can be found on the product packaging or the manufacturer's website.

Complaints

If you have an issue with a product, please contact info@ropee.fi as soon as possible. Include your order number, product name, and description of the issue. Photos help us process the case faster.

Complaints must be submitted in a reasonable time after noticing the defect. We handle all complaints within 30 days of receiving a complete report.

If a complaint is accepted, Ropee Oy covers all return shipping costs. If repair is possible without reducing product value or causing unreasonable inconvenience, we reserve the right to repair rather than refund or replace.

⚠️ For damage caused during shipping, please notify both Ropee Oy and your local postal service within 7 days of delivery.

Newsletter and marketing consent is handled separately.

Force Majeure

Ropee Oy is not responsible for delays or failures caused by force majeure events such as changes in law, strikes, natural disasters, war, or similar.

If the force majeure lasts over 60 days, either party may cancel the contract without liability.

Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by Finnish law. Any disputes are primarily resolved through customer service negotiations. If no resolution is reached, the case may be brought to a Finnish court or consumer dispute board.
